Strictly Come Dancing's Angela Rippon was supported as she made an announcement during an "intense" week.
The 79-year-old has been partnered with Kai Widdrington in this year's battle to win the Glitterball. The two shared updates as they arrived at iconic Tower Ballroom today ahead of Blackpool week.
Angela took to Instagram and said she "can't believe" she gets to be a part of such a significant week in the show. However, Angela has not rested on her laurels ahead of Blackpool as she has been extra busy in her other role as presenter of Rip Off Britain.

In a post shared this week, she said: "Fighting for consumer rights and fighting to remember the steps! This week is going to be one of the most intense yet exciting weeks for me.
"Not only is it Blackpool week, a huge milestone in the Strictly calendar but I’m back with @instaglogran and #JuliaSomerville filming the new series of #RipOffBritain in Manchester too. Wish me luck."
Celebrity fans and followers flooded the comments to praise Angela after the update. Former head judge Arlene Phillips said: "Wow. What a week but I know you can do it."
Joanna posted: "Good Luck Angela! You are amazing and how wonderful you having an American Smooth, it’s going to be so beautiful."
