Everton's Premier League points deduction continues to send shockwaves through English football with Liverpool one of the clubs watching events unfold.

The Reds did battle with Man City for the league title over the past 10 years and will do so again on Saturday when the two sides meet at the Etihad.

But for now much of the focus remains on whether City will face punishment if found guilty of 115 charges of breaking financial rules. We'll have the latest on that and any injury news as it happens.

Kostas Tsimikas fit for Liverpool return following Greece omission

Kostas Tsimikas didn't feature for Greece in their 2-2 draw with France but This Is Anfield are claiming that the Liverpool defender is fit for Saturday's clash.

The Reds travel to the Etihad Stadium on Saturday as they look to dent Manchester City's hopes of taking an early lead at the top.

The 27-year-old was left out by Gus Poyet but is now reportedly set to be available for selection for their Euro 2024 qualification playoff in March.

The Liverpool show at Goodison Park

The scoreline may have read: 'England U21 3-0 Northern Ireland U21'.

But it should really have been: 'Liverpool 3-0 Northern Ireland U21'.

Two for Harvey Elliott and one for Tyler Morton, on his first under-21s start.

Elliott continues to show his importance to Lee Carsley's side after netting his fourth and fifth goal of the qualification group.
