A teenager has been arrested after a cannabis farm was found in a house.

Officers from Lancashire Police received "information" from the public, which led to them raiding a home on Southport Road in Ormskirk. Once officers arrived they found a "large number of cannabis plants" inside the property.

Officers confirmed an 18-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of cultivation of cannabis and is currently in custody. A police van remains at the scene as investigations are ongoing.
